SCIENTIFIC ORGANIZATION CHART 2021 Dorothea GREILING has been appointed as new President of the CIRIEC International Scientific Council for a period of 3 years. She is a full Professor at the faculty of Social Sciences, Economics and Business Administration at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz, Austria. She is head of the Institute for Management Acounting. Her main research focuses on accountability, performance management, sustainability control and sustainability reporting of public and non-profit organisations as well as regulated industries. She takes over from Philippe BANCE (Université des Antilles, France) The International Scientific Council (ISC) is made up of scientific delegates from the national sections of CIRIEC and thus constitutes a body that is representative of the same. The Scientific Council bears general responsibility for strategy and coordination as regards research. It also stands guarantee for the permanence of exchanges between scientific circles and the practitioners and managers within CIRIEC. Marie J. BOUCHARD remains President of the CIRIEC International Scientific Commission « Social and Cooperative Economy ». She is a professor at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), head of the Collective Enterprises Axis of the Centre for Research on Social Innovations (CRISES) and a member of the scientific committee of Territoires innovants en économie sociale et solidaire (TIESS). Her main research focuses on Impact measurement in the social and cooperative economy, conceptual and statistical mapping of the social economy, social innovation and evaluation. The International Scientific Commission « Social and Cooperative Economy » and its working groups as a whole form an international network of more than a hundred academics and experts, involved in many research activities. Its mission is to pursue the actual scientific work according to a research outline and to lead an analytical reflection on selected themes. Research results are presented and discussed through publications and scientific events. The Commission also has a watchdog function giving a critical review on current developments.
