 1st Issue August 2022
Editorial
At the moment we are in the last stages of preparing our very first regional meeting next month at the Institute of International Relations in Prague, and we look forward to more regional meetings to come. So if you’d like to propose or host one in your own region, please feel free to contact us! We’re also excited that the first submissions to our call for panels for our 2023 Lisbon General Conference are dropping in. Today’s blog post picks up the widely overlooked topic of unsustainable food transformations, and we are happy to announce a series of commentaries on research-practice-collaborations in our journal, the EJDR. Apart from our highlight, calls, trainings and publication picks, we’ve got quite a long list of open vacancies today.

Commentaries on Research–Practice–Collaborations
In her recent commentary in our journal, the European Journal of Development Research (EJDR), Katja Bender from the International Center for Sustainable Development at the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences reflects on Research-Practice Collaborations (RPCs) from a political-economic perspective. We’ve invited another series of commentaries to discuss her approach from various perspectives which are available here
