Maggie CARTER Senior Research Analyst
United Nations Research Institute for Social Development (UNRISD) in the Transformative Social Policy Programme. She is co-author of the UNRISD 2022 Flagship Report Crises of Inequality: Shifting Power for a new Eco-Social Contract and co-editor of the book Between Fault Lines and Front Lines: Shifting Power in an Unequal World (Bloomsbury 2022). Her research explores how to rein in elite power, create inclusive and rights-based systems that are resilient to crisis, and implement alternative development approaches that center environmental, economic and social justice.
