RENEWAL – PRESIDENT OF THE INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC COUNCIL 2025-2027
Dorothea Greiling received her habilitation in business administration from Mannheim University. Since 2008 she has been a full professor at the faculty of Social Sciences, Economics and Business at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz, Austria. She is also head of the Institute of Management Accounting. Her main research focuses on public accountability, performance management, sustainability control, sustainability reporting, and SDG activities, mostly but not exclusively of public enterprises and non-profit organisations as well as in regulated industries. Dorothea Greiling serves as editor or editorial board member of several academic journals.
NEW PRESIDENT OF THE SCIENTIFIC COMMISSION SOCIAL AND COOPERATIVE ECONOMY 2025-2027 Carmen Marcuello is a full professor in the Department of Business Management at the Zaragoza University. Her research has focused on the study of social economy organizations, social impact, and gender studies. She is the director of the GESES-University of Zaragoza research group and the Chair of Social Economy and Cooperatives, funded by the Government of Aragón. In addition, she is Vice President of CIRIEC-Spain and member of the Scientific Commission on Social Economy of CIRIEC-Spain. In collaboration with faculty from the Faculty of Economics and Business, she contributed to the creation of the Social Economy Laboratory, which focuses on the development and support of social entrepreneurship projects. She is also a member of the editorial boards of Annals of Public and Cooperative Economics and CIRIEC-España, Revista de la Economía Pública Social y Cooperativa. She serves on the Special Commission for the Observatory of Volunteering in Spain and the Aragonese Council for the Promotion of the Social Economy. Between 2017 and 2025, she was President of OIBESCOOP (Observatorio Iberoamericano del Empleo, la Economía Social y las Cooperativas). She has participated in the creation of CEPES-Aragón and is a co-founder of the Musethica Association, where she has served as social director since 2012. Furthermore, as a member of the Board of the Foundation for Integration and Employment, she is part of the Board of Directors of the Special Employment Center, Arapack, and the work integration social enterprise, Mapiser.
RENEWAL – PRESIDENT OF THE SCIENTIFIC COMMISSION PUBLIC ENTERPRISES – PUBLIC SERVICES 2025-2027
Eoin Reeves is a Full Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics at the University of Limerick, Ireland. His research interests lie primarily in the economics of public enterprise, public sector reform, infrastructure policy and the public-private mix in public service delivery. This includes issues such as privatisation (and reverse privatisation), liberalisation, and different forms of private sector participation in the delivery of public services such as PPPs. He has published one book and over 70 peer reviewed papers and book chapters on these topics and was a visiting research scholar at Monash University, Australia (2013), Cornell University (2014), and the Universitat de Barcelona (2022).
