SENIOR TEACHING FELLOW IN SOCIAL ANTHROPOLOGY

£32,558- £38,432 p.a. inclusive of London Allowance

Applicants are invited for a fixed-term position as Senior Teaching Fellow in the SOAS Anthropology Department from September 2013. Preference will be given to a candidate able to teach the ethnography of China at undergraduate and Master’s level. You will be expected to teach other courses in anthropology, and assume administrative tasks.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in Social/Cultural Anthropology or be close to completing. You will have proven experience in teaching, and proven administrative and organisational skills.

It is expected that you will have expertise relevant to the vision and strategy of the School
