The conference theme is « Shifting identities, changing relations: Ethnicity, Culture, and Society in an Emerging Africa ». CEASC I is the first conference of newly established Central European African Studies Network (CEASN) which aims to bring together scholars (not only) from Central European countries in order to share knowledge, experience and expertise and develop African studies in this part of Europe.
