Professor Acharya is considered one of the most original thinkers in contemporary international relations, especially for his central role in the debate on a non-Western International Relations theory and practice. A prolific writer, his most recent publications are Rethinking Power, Institutions and Ideas in World Politics (London: Routledge 2013) and a third edition of Constructing a Security Community in Southeast Asia (London: Routledge 2014)
